R.L. “Barney” Absher began the company in 1940. Before Slinky, Mount Rushmore and the microwave. And in these eight decades, we’ve led the way in industry excellence, technology adoption and versatility.
Barney’s credo was, “If you’re going to do a job, do it right.” And right we still do. After three generations of family 2024 European Cup scheduleownership, Absher has handed the keys over to our Employee Owners who are still guided by our values of doing things right and doing right things.
