EURO 2024 Qualifiers

The $12.6M Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center project at WSU involved new construction of a 16,000 SF facility EURO 2024 Qualifierson an occupied campus. The Absher/GGLO design-build team collaborated to create a facility that represents four main cultural groups—Latino, African-American, Native American and Asian/Pacific-Islander. This all-new facility will be a marquee project for the University to celebrate diversity. With 2024 European Cup football scoresa striking design by our partners at GGLO; the facility will host four cultural knowledge rooms; a gallery for showcasing art; a living room space for gathering; a demonstration kitchen; and a meditation area.

LEED Gold certified. The ESFCC is built on a previously developed site, avoiding further expansion into the Palouse. EURO 2024 QualifiersThe design also maximizes usable open space and evades light pollution, which maintains the beauty of Pullman’s night skies.
